The Overburdened Table By: Everly
In a house, there sat two tables. They were separated from each other by 3 yards. Both tables were the same size, but one was on one side of the house, and the other on the other side.
A family prepped for dinner. They were having family come over to celebrate. They set spoons, forks, knives, bread, chicken, salads, sauces, casseroles, and other such things on one table, and on the other table they set nothing.
The guests came over, and they brought other things to eat, vegetables, fruits, meats, and more. All of these things were set on the table that had everything else.
The other table still had nothing.
And now, the table with all the foods and utensils, was getting rather weak. He could not carry everything much longer.
And only a few small seconds after the family started eating, the table snapped it half, and fell to the ground.
All the food was ruined, there were wood splinters everywhere, and the family sat shocked.
None of this would have ever happened, if the family had only split the food between the two tables.
Don’t overburden your friends more than you burden yourself.
