Ok, when the title above says easy, it means easy. This Pom Pom style ponytail is incredible simple, takes very few supplies, and doesn’t take super long to make! And it uses your yarn scarps! Which, if you are a crocheter and crafter like I am, you have a lot of yarn scraps to use. And, like the shirt above says, don’t be afraid to ‘Be Different’ with your ponytails! So let’s get started on this super easy project!
Supplies:
A ponytail
Yarn (you can cut some, or you can use some yarn scraps leftover from other projects!)
Scissors
Directions:
1. Take a piece of yarn (as long or a short as you like) and fold it in half. Then, insert the side without ends underneath the ponytail
Note: I know the pictures show a fuchsia color, but I later decided to change my colors ;P
2. Now take the ends of the yarn, and bring it through the loop
3. Pull the ends all the way to make it fully secure
4. Now repeat this with other yarn pieces all the way around
5. Once you have gone all the way around, pull on each one to make sure they are fully tightened
Note: It is entirely up to you on how short or long you want your yarn to be! It could even be a mix of both if you like :D
7. And that’s it! You also now have smaller yarn scraps (from cutting the yarn) that you could turn into fluff! If you would like to know how to make fluff, just search ‘Fluff’ on my blog, and it the post should show up! I hope you liked this project!
